Earlier this year I switched from listening to music in my office at work to listening to narrated books. I blame Amazon - especially Kindle and Prime membership which offers unlimited access. Now, I've met my 2015 book reading goal and over 3/4 is from narrated novels. I've become addicted.
I feel guilty. I still love "real" books, the heft, and smell. But I've found that some stories that were hard to get into by simply reading in the traditional way were far more fascinating and better with professional narration.
Am I lost to narration?
Does that make me lazy?
